A body of mass 10kg has a velocity of 5m/s and is brought to rest with a uniform retardation in 2sec. Calculate the workdone in losing the velocity.​

Distance = 5m/s × 2sec = 10m

Acceleration = v-u/2=0-5/2=0.25m/s²

Work done = F×s = 2.5 × 10 = 25 Joule
