Answer:

If g=10ms^-1,Power=1000w;if g=9.8ms^-1,Power = 980 W(Recommended,g= 10ms^-1)

Explanation:

Given:

Mass: 10kg

height:20m

Time:2s

Therefore, Force = m×g= 10×10=100N[Since,work done by Gravitational force= mgh]

since,Power= workdone/ Time

Power = 100×20m/2=1000W

Therefore the Power of the Body is 1000W

The recommended g here is 10ms^-1 because in main exams most values of g will be propabaly 10ms^-1.if g value is given separate put that in the place of g in the above equ.

Answer:

power=work done ÷time taken

work done=force ×displacement

force=m×acceleration

=10×20÷2 (a=displacement ÷time)

= 100

w=100×20=2000

p=2000÷2=1000
