A body of mass 10kg is moving with a constant velocity of 10m/s . when a constant force acts for 4 seconds on it , it moves with a velocity 2 m/s in opposite direction . then find tha acceleration produced in it

Answer:-3 m/s^2

Explanation:

Given,

u= 10m/s^2

v= -2m/s^2(because , given that opposite in direction)

t=4seconds

We have u , v and t , so to find 'a' we can use the formula

v=u+at..................(1)

Substitute v , u , t in equation (1)...

-2 = 10+a(4)

Then ,We get a = -3m/s^2

NOTE : "^" this sign denotes power.
