Given :-

Mass of the body = 10 kg

Height = 10 m

Velocity = 2 m/s

To Find :-

The work done during the time.

Solution :-

We know that,

  • m = Mass
  • g = Acceleration due to gravity
  • h = Height
  • v = Velocity
  • w = Work

Using the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Work \ done=mgh+ \bigg( \dfrac{1}{2\ } \ mv^2 \bigg)}}

Given that,

Mass (m) = 10 kg

Height (h) = 10 m

Velocity (v) = 2 m/s

Substituting their values,

w = 10 × 9.8 × 10 + (1/2×10×2²)

w = 10 × 9.8 × 10 + (1/2×10×4)

w = 980 + (1/2×40)

w = 980 + 20

w = 1000 J

Therefore, the work done during this time is 1000 J.
