We know that,
- m = Mass
- g = Acceleration due to gravity
- h = Height
- v = Velocity
- w = Work
Using the formula,
Given that,
Mass (m) = 10 kg
Height (h) = 10 m
Velocity (v) = 2 m/s
Substituting their values,
w = 10 × 9.8 × 10 + (1/2×10×2²)
w = 10 × 9.8 × 10 + (1/2×10×4)
w = 980 + (1/2×40)
w = 980 + 20
w = 1000 J
Therefore, the work done during this time is 1000 J.
