A body of mass 1kg is at rest. A force of 1N acts on it for 10s. Find the distance covered by it.

Mass of the body = 1 kg

Time = 10sec

Force on the body = 1N

Force = mass X acceleration

1 N = 1 kg X a

a = 1/1

a = 1 m/s^{2}

SO, a = (v-u)/t  {Was at rest}

a = (v-0)/10

1 = v/10

v = 10

Now, From v^{2} = u^{2} + 2as

10^{2} = 0^{2} + 2*1*s\\100 = 0 + 2s\\2s = 100\\s = 100/2\\s = 50

Therefore, the distance covered will be 50m...
