HERE'S THE ANSWER..

_____________________________

♠️ If the boy is changing its velocity with respect to time , it means it is Accelerating .

✔️ Acceleration ( a ) = [ final velocity ( v ) - initial velocity ( u ) ] / time ( t )

⏺️ initial velocity ( u ) = 4 cm / s = o.o4 m / s

⏺️final velocity ( v ) = 8 cm / s = 0.08 m / s

=> a = ( v - u ) / t

=> a = ( 0.08 - 0.04 ) / 2

=> a = 0.04 / 2

=> [ a = 0.02 m /s^2 ]

♠️ Now force is equal to product of mass and Acceleration , i.e

=> F = m × a

=> F = 0.02 × 2.5

=>\boxed{ F \:= \: 0.05 N\: or \:0.05\: Kg \:m / s^2 }

♠️ Direction will be the same in which object has moved

HOPE HELPED.

Here is your answer

here, m= 2.5kg

initial velocity, u= 4cm/s= (4×1/100)m/s = 0.04m/s

final velocity, v= 8cm/s= (8×1/100)m/s = 0.08m/s

t= 2secs

so,
a= (v-u)/t= (0.08-0.04)/2m/s^2
= 0.04/2 m/s^2
= 0.02 m/s^2

So, F= ma= (2.5 × 0.02)N
= 0.05N
since the force is positive so direction of force is in the direction of acceleration.
