v^2= u^2 + 2gh

v^2= 0 + 2x10×1....(initial velocity u=0

g = 10 )

v^2=20 m/s

kinetic energy = 1/2 mv^2

= 1/2 ×2 ×10

=10 joule

K.E. when it touches the ground is 10 joule
