the mass body..2kg
h...5meter
g...9.8meter per second2
v=98m/s2

mathematicalphysics: wrong

by conservation of mechanical enengy,
PE = KE
mgh = 1/2mv^2
gh = 1/2 v^2
10 * 5= 1/2 v^2
100 = v^2
v= 10m/s.

dhoni8: plz explain
mathematicalphysics: right
mathematicalphysics: suppose. work =kinetic energy.
vasacam: this question requires understanding of concepts in work and energy
nikhilAwasthi: m×g×h=2×9.8×5=98
dhoni8: plzz tell steps
mathematicalphysics: w=fscos0 because . displacement and force or simply velocity is in same direction.
mathematicalphysics: use formula.. v =root. mass×acceleration ×displacement.
mathematicalphysics: displacement is height
