A body of mass 2 kg moving with a velocity of 10m/s hits another body of mass 4k/g moving with a velocity of 1m/s in the same direction. After collision both masses move together. Find the loss of kinetic energy due to collision?

K1=1/2 * 2*100=100J
K2=1/2 * 4* 1=2J
total kinetic energy before collision=100+2=102 J
now after collision :
v=10+1/2=5.5m/s
k1= 1/2 *2*30.25
