then acceleration produced in the body=force applied/mass of the body =5/20=1/4 m/s^2

using second equation of motion = s=ut+1at^2/2

distance travelled in three seconds :

s = 1 x 1 x 3 x 3 /8=1.125 m

then work done = force x distance

workdone= 5 x 1.125=5.625 joule.
