Answer:

P = m*ΔV

ΔV = V2 - V1

ΔV = 17 - 5 = 12m/s

P = 0.2*12

P = 2.4 kgm/s

Answer:

The change in linear momentum of body = 2.4 kg*m/s

Explanation:

Given :-

Mass = 220 g = 0.2kg

Velocity = 5 m/s

Velocity = 17 m/s

We know that,

F = m*v

hence first ,

F¹ = 0.2*5

= 1 kg*m/s

F² = 0.2*17

= 3.4 kg*m/s

change in linear momentum of body = F² - F¹

= 3.4 - 1

= 2.4 kg*m/s
