momentum = mv

0.40 = 0.025 × v

v = 0.40/0.025

v = 16 m/s

Kinetic energy = 1/2 mv²

=> 1/2 × 0.025 × 16 × 16

=> 8 × 16 × 0.025

=> 3.2 Joules

Answer:

K Ē = 1/2 mv²

then

mass in kg = 25/1000 = 0.025 kg

then momentum = mv = 0.025×v = 0.4

then v = 0.4/0.025 = 16m/s

then.

KE = 1/2 0.025×16²

= 128×0.025 = 3.2 joule.

hope it helps...
