Pretty simple.
Momentum=Mass×Velocity.
100=25×v.
v=100/25
v=4m/s

Given:

  • Mass (m) = 25 kg
  • Momentum (p) = 100 kgm/s

To Find:

  • What is the Velocity?

Formula Used:

 \\ \bigstar{\underline{\boxed{\sf\green{ Momentum = Mass \times Velocity }}}} \\

Solution:

After Substituting the Values;

 \colon\implies{\sf{ 100 = 25 \times v }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ \cancel{ \dfrac{100}{25} } = v  }} \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf\red{ v = 4 \: m/s }}

Hence,

The Velocity of a body is 4 m/s.

Remarks:

  • P = Momentum
  • M = Mass
  • V = Velocity
