Mass of first body - 2kg

Mass of second body - 5kg

Initial speed of first body - 10 ms^-1

initial speed of second body - 0 ms^-1

final velocity of first body - 1 m^s-1

by the law of conservation of momentum

m1u + m2u = m1v + m2v

m2 for second body m1 for first ..then

> 2×10 + 5×0 = 2×1 +5v

> 20. = 2 +5v

>. 20 -2 = 5v

>. 18 = 5v

>. 18/5 = v

:::: v=3.6 ms^-1

velocity if second body after collision will be 3.6 ms^-1
