Question :-

A Body of mass 2kg is moving

in a smooth surface in a straight lines with a uniform velocity of 10m/s resultant force acting on the body is ?

Answer :-

→ 0

Explanation :-

Given that

• Mass of body (m) = 2kg

• velocity (v) = 10m/s

apply Newton's second law ,

→ F = m a

here ,velocity is constant therefore the body in not accelerated ,hence acceleration is zero ,

→ F = m × 0

→ F = 0 N

Resultant force is 0 .

If given velocity will non uniform then

Force is F = 2a ( a is the acceleration )
