A body of mass 2kg is moving in forward direction with a velocity of 2m/s and collides with another body of mass 4kg moving in opposite direction with a velocity of 4m/s. After collision the bodies attach and move with a common velocity. Find the common velocity?

formula= m1u1+m2u2=(m1+m2) × v
= 2×2 + 4 × (-4) = (2+4) ×v
= 4+(-16) = 6v
= -12 = 6v
= -12 ÷6 = v
= v = -2
= 2×2 + 4 × (-4) = (2+4) ×v
= 4+(-16) = 6v
= -12 = 6v
= -12 ÷6 = v
= v = -2
