Given :  a body of mass 2kg is projected at an angle of 45 degree with the horizontal .  the maximum height is 50m  

To Find : horizontal range  

Solution:

Assume that Velocity is V√2  m/s

Horizontal velocity = V√2 cos45° = V m/s

Vertical velocity = V√2sin45° = V m/s

V=U + at

=> 0 = V - gt

=> t = V/g

Time of flight = 2V/g

S = ut + (1/2)at²

50 = V(V/g) - (1/2)g(V/g)²

=> 50= V²/g - V²/2g

=> V²/g = 100

Horizontal Distance range = V *  2V/g

= 2V²/g

= 2 * 100

= 200 m

horizontal range is  200 m
