velocity become zero at maximum height , so

maximum height attained Hmax = (initial velocity)²/2 x acceleration due to gravity

or. Hmax = u²/2g

Hmax= (5)²/2x10

Hmax= 25/20

Hmax= 1.25m

work done (w)= mgh

w = 2 x 10 X 1.25

w = 25

work done = 25 joules
