Given
- Mass = 2 kg
- Surface Area = 100 cm²
- Gravitational Acceleration = 9.8 m/s²
To Find
- Pressure applied and the force applied
Solution
● Pressure = Force/Area
● F = ma
✭ Converting Units :
- Area = 100 cm² = 100/1000 = 0.1 m²
✭ Force Applied :
→ F = ma
→ F = 2 × 9.8
→ F = 19.6 N
✭ Pressure Applied :
→ Pressure = Force/Area
→ Pressure = 19.6/0.1
→ Pressure = 196 Pa
- And the Thrust is equal to he force applied which is equal to 19.6 N

Answer:-
★★Mass of the body = 2kg
★★Surface area taken by the body = 100cm²
★★Velocity = 9.8m/s²
We need to find the thrust and pressure exerted on the table by the body
»Thrust exerted by the body on the table:-
Thrust exerted by the body on the table = Mass × Velocity
Thrust exerted by the body on the table = 2 × 9.8
Thrust exerted by the body on the table = 19.6
»Pressure exerted by the body on the table:-
Pressure exerted by the body on the table = 196Pa
Answer:-
- Thrust exerted by the body on the table = 19.6
- Pressure exerted by the body on the table = 196Pa
