Given :

Mass of body , m = 3 kg .

To Find :

The normal reaction exerted by the ground on the body .

Solution :

We know , magnitude of normal reaction is equal to the amount of gravitational force exert by the earth .

So , N=mg       .... ( 1 )

Here , g is acceleration due to gravity g=9.8\ m/s^2 .

Putting value of m and g in equation 1 .

We get ,

N=3\times 9.8\ N\\\\N=29.4\ N

Therefore , normal reaction exerted by the ground on the body is 29.4 N .

Hence , this is the required solution .
