Solution
Given :-
- Net force = 10
- t = 10s
- object initially at rest = initial velocity (u) =0
acceleration
- F = ma = 10
- (4) a = 10
- a = 10 /4 =2.5 m/s²
displacement
- s = ut +½at² = (0)10 + ½(2.5)(10)²
- s = 0 + 2.5 × 5 ×10 = 125 m
Work done
- W = F × s
- W = 10 × 125
- W = 1250 joules
so,work done by the force is 1250 J.
