Explanation:

As we know Kinetic Energy= 1/2mv^2

Mass(m) = 4kg

Velocity (v) = 10m/s

Putting the values in the formula

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 (4) ( 10)^2

= 2 × 100

= 200 J

If the velocity would be doubled, the value of the kinetic energy will become 4 times

= 4 × 200

= 800 J
