QUESTION:-

A body of mass 40 kg moves with velocity 2 m/s .Find momentum.

ANSWER:-

Mass of first body  m1=40 kg and its velocity  u1=4 m/s

Mass of second body  m2=60 kg and its velocity  u2=2 m/s

Energy lost in perfectly inelastic collision  ΔKE=21m1+m2m1m2(u1−u2)2

∴  ΔKE=21(40+60)(40)(60)(4−2)2=48 J
