Given :

Mass of the body = 42kg

Radius of circular path = 42m

To Find :

Work done and power of body after completing a rotation.

Solution :

❖ We know that work done is measured as the product of force and displacement.

  • Displacement is defined as the shortest distance between initial and final position of the entire journey.
  • It is a vector quantity having both magnitude as well as direction.
  • SI unit : m

After completing a rotation, body comes back to the initial position. Hence displacement of body will be zero.

Work done = 0

Power is defined as the rate of work done per unit time.

In this case work done is zero.

Hence power is also zero.
