a body of mass 48 kg runs on a circular track of radius 100m from starting point . A with a constant speed it takes 50 s for him to reach point B which is the other end of the diameter calculate :
1 the distance covered by the boy
2 the displacement of the body

Mass of the body (m) = 48 kg

Radius of the circle (r) = 100 m

Time taken (t) = 50 s

1) Distance covered = Half of the circumference of the circle = \pi \times r

Distance covered = 3.14 × 100 = 314 m

2) Displacement = 2 × r = 2 × 100 = 200 m

Displacement = 200 m

3) Speed = v

Speed = \frac{Distance}{time}

Speed = \frac{314}{50}

Speed = 6.28 m/s

Hence, the speed of the body is 6.28 m/s
