A body of mass 4kg, initially at rest, after 5 mints attains a velocity of 2m/s. Find the force required to move the body.

  • Mass(m)=4kg
  • Velocity(v)=2m/s
  • Time(t)=5min=300sec

We know that;

Acceleration(a)= \frac{v}{t}

 \implies a =  \frac{2}{300}

  \therefore a =  \frac{1}{150} {ms}^{ - 2}

But;

 \blue{ \boxed{Force(F)=ma}}

 \implies F = (4)( \frac{1}{150} )

 \orange{ \therefore \boxed{F = 0.02N}}
