  • Final Velocity (v) = 0 m/s
  • Time (t) = 6 seconds

To Find:

  • Force required to stop Object?

SoluTion:

Firstly We have to Find the acceleration;

A = v-u/t

a = (0 - 3)/6

a = -3/6

a = -1/2 m/

Now, We can find the Force required to stop the body;

F = M × A

F = 5 × -1/2

F = -2.5 Newton

Hence,

The body need 2.5 N Of Force for stopping.
