A body of mass 5 kg is moving with a velocity f 10 m/s. A force is applied to it so that in 25 seconds it attained a velocity of 35 m/s. calculate the magnitude of the force applied.

v= 35 m/s

we know

f= change in momentum ÷ time

F= (mv-mu) ÷ t

F= {5(35) - 5(10)} ÷ 25

F= {5(25)} ÷ 25

F= 5 newton
