A body of mass 5 kg is moving with a velocity of 10 metre per second a force is applied to it so that in 25 second it attains a velocity of 35 metre per second calculate the value of the force applied

final velocity = 35 m/s

CALCULATE THE VALUE OF FORCE

APPLIED

From 1st equation of kinematics

v = u + at

put the value in above equation

35 = 10 + 25a

35 - 10 = 25a

25 = 25a

a = 1 m/s^2

Therefore,

acceleration = 1 m/s^2

FORCE = MASS X ACCELERATION

F = MA

put the value of mass and acceleration in

above equation

F = 5 X 1

F = 5N = ANSWER
