F= 75 N

mew= 0.5

frictional force acts opposite in direction of the applied force and is given by

1) f= mew ×m×g

= 0.5×5×10= 25 N

2) since the applied force is greater the body will move

F - f = ma

75 - 25 = 5×a

a = 50/5 = 10 m/ s^2

3) If there is no friction

then acceleration is given by

F = ma

75= 5× a

a = 15 m/ s^2
