First we will apply second equation of motion.
s = ut + 1/2 ( at² )
4 m = (0)(2) + 1/2( a )(2)²
4 = 2a
2 m/s² = acceleration
Now, convert g into kg = 500 / 1000 kg or 0.5 kg
As, Force = mass × acceleration
Or F = ma
Force = ( 0.5 kg )( 2 m/s² )
Force = 1 N
Hope it helps
