Force = mass × acceleration

We get acceleration from the following kinematics equation.

S = ut + 0.5at²

S = 4

u = 0

t = 2

4 = 0 + 0.5 × a × 4

4 = 2a

a = 2 m/s²

Mass in kg = 500/1000 = 0.5 kg

Force  = 0.5 × 2 = 1 N

Hey Mate!!!!

Here's your answer.

initial velocity , u = 0

time taken , t = 2 sec

distance covered , s = 4m

, S = ut + 1/2 at²

4 = 0 + 1/2 × a × 2²

4 = 2a => a = 2 m/s²

F = ma

here, m = 0.5kg and a = 2m/s²

so, F = 0.5 × 2 = 1N

I hope it helps.
