Given:-

  • Mass of Body = 5kg

  • Initial Velocity = 40m/s

  • Displacement = 50m

  • Final Velocity = 60m/s.

To Find:-

  • The magnitude of Constant Force.

Formulae used:-

  • v² - u² = 2as

  • F = ma

Where,

v = Final Velocity

u = Initial Velocity

a = Acceleration

s = Distance

Now,

We will first find Acceleration

v² - u² = 2as

(60)² - (40)² = 2 × a × 50

3600 - 1600 = 100a

2000 = 100a

a = 2000/100

a = 20m/s²

Now,

F = ma

F = 5 × 20

F = 100N

Thus, The force acting on body is 100N.

Hence, The Option "2" is Correct.
