given mass=5kg

v=4m/s

m=3kg

v=2m/s

it will move towards north

Towards north with 1 m/s speed

Let me explain

Resulting force is 8 kgm/s ( 20-12 kgm/s)

And now the total mass 8 kg ( 3+5kg)

Therefore, velocity = 8kgm/s /8kg

=1 m/s
