A body of mass 5kg is moving with a uniform velocity of 10 m/s.it is acted upon a force of 20n. What will be its velocity after 1s

Since Force = Mass * Acceleration

Given :

Force = 20 Newton

Mass = 5kg

Let acceleration be a.

=) 20 = 5 * a

=) 20/5 = a

=) 4 m/s^2 = a

Since a = (v-u) / t

=) 4 = (v - 10) / 1

=) 4 = v - 10

=) 4 + 10 m/s = v

=) 14 m/s = v.

Hence final velocity be 14 m/s.
