Provided that:

  • Mass of a body = 5 kg
  • Acceleration = 0.30 m/s²

To calculate:

  • The force

Solution:

  • The force = 1.5 Newton

Knowledge required:

↪️ We can calculate the SI unit of force by using the SI units o mass and acceleration. The SI unit of mass is kg and the SI unit of acceleration is m/ Therefore, the SI unit of force is kg · m/s² that is kg m/s² But to the honour of Sir Issac Newton the SI unit of force becames Newton(N)

Using concept:

  • Force formula

Using formula:

  • F = ma

Where, F denotes force, m denotes mass and a denotes acceleration

Required solution:

→ F = ma

→ F = 5(0.30)

→ F = 1.5 N

Force = 1.5 Newton \:

Answer:-

  • Mass=5kg
  • Acceleration=0.30m/s^2

We know that

\boxed{\sf Force=Mass\times Acceleration}

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\longmapsto Force=5\times 0.30

\\ \qquad\quad\sf\longmapsto Force=1.5N

Note:-

SI unit of Force is Newton(N)
