v after 5sec= u-gt= 5-10×5=- 45m/s so 2gs= v²-u² so. s= -45²-5²/-10×2= 2025-25/-20= 100m so potential energy is mgh so p.e.= 5kg×10m/s²×100m= 5000kgm²/s²
