use s = (g/2)(2n - 1) and put n = 1 ....because initial velocity u = 0
that should do it !

The distance covered by the body in one second is 5m.

Given:-

Mass of body = 5kg

Initial velocity= 0m/s

Time = 1sec

To Find:-

The distance covered by the body in one second.

Solution:-

We can simply calculate the distance covered by the body in one second by using the following method.

As

Mass of body (m) = 5kg

Initial velocity (u) = 0m/s

Time (t) = 1sec

g = 10m/s²

According to the second equation of motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

s = 0 \times 1 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times  {1}^{2}

s = 5 \times 1

s = 5m

Hence, The distance covered by the body in one second is 5m.
