Answer:-

v = 0.005 m/s

Given :-

m = 60 kg

p = 300 gm-m/s

To find :-

The velocity of the body.

Solution:-

Let the velocity of the body be v.

First change the momentum in to SI unit.

300 gm-m/s

divide it by 1000

= 300/1000

p = 0.3 kg -m/s

Now,

Momentum → The product of mass and velocity of a body is known as its momentum.

From definition the formula for momentum is given by :-

 \huge \boxed {P = mv}

Put the given value,

 \dfrac{3}{10} = 60 \times v

 v = \dfrac{0.3}{60}

 v = \dfrac{3}{600}

 v = 0.005 m/s

hence,

The velocity of body will be 0.005s.
