We know that ,
Mechanical energy= potential energy+kinetic energy
Potential energy= mgh
= 6×10×6(18/3)
Potential energy= 3600J
Kinetic energy= 1/2 mv²
V²=u²+2as
V²= 2×10×6
V²= 120m/s.
Kinetic energy= 1/2×6×120
Kinetic energy= 360J
Mechanical energy= 3600+360
Mechanical energy= 3960J.
