Solution,
The body is lying on the table that means it is applying some force on the table.
From Newton's third law of motion we know that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
So the table is also giving back some equal amount of force
Here both the forces are equal and opposite.
So they will cancel each other and their resultant force will be zero.
Force on table by the block, F=mg=9g
Force by the table to the block, N=mg=9g
So resultant force=9g-9g=0
Hence, the net force acting on it is 0.
