A body of mass i kg is kept at rest . a constant force of 6 newton acts on it .find the time taken by body to move a distance of 12 metre

m= 1 kg
F=6 N
s= 12 m
using equation of Newton

F=ma
a= f/m = 6/1 =6

If is given that the body is at rest so its initial velocity is zero.

using Newton 3 equation

s= ut+ 1/2 at ^2
12= 0 + 1/2 × 6× t^2
t^2 = 24/6
t^2 = 4
t= 2 seconds
