A body of mass M hits normally a rigid wall with velocity V and bounces back with the same velocity. The impulse experienced by the body is

Hi Mate

The impulse is given as

J = dp = F .dt

since here , dp = d (mv)

so actually change in the linear MOMENTUM = impulse

therefore here

at positive velocity, Pi = MV

AND AT NEGATIVE VELOCITY that is rebounce pf = -MV

therfore Delta P = -MV - MV = -2MV

thus the answer is

c.) 2MV
