Answer:

kinetic \: energy \:  =  \frac{m {v}^{2} }{2}

so ,

when

 {v}^{'}  = 2v

 {k.e.}^{'}  =  \frac{ {4m {v}^{2} }}{2}

so ,

k.e. =   2m {v}^{2}
