m = mass of the body

F = force on the body

a = acceleration of the body

acceleration of the body is given as

a = F/m                          eq-1

v₀ = initial velocity = 0 m/s

v = final velocity

t = time of travel

using the equation

v = v₀ + a t

using eq-1

v = 0 + (F/m) t

v = Ft/m                          eq-2

kinetic energy gained is given as

KE = (0.5) m v²

KE = (0.5) m (Ft/m)²

KE = (0.5) (F²t²/m)

power is given as

P = work done / time

here work done is the kinetic energy gained

so  P = KE/t

P = ((0.5) (F²t²/m))/t

P = ((0.5) (F²t/m)
