Conserving momentum

mv=mv1+2mv2

v=v1+2v2

e=vv2−v1=1 as collision is head on.

v2−v1=v

v1+2v2=v

v2=32v

v1=3−1v

so K.E ratio=21×m×(3v)221×m×v2

=9:1
