According to Archimidies principle

Upthrust force is

Force= weight of displaced water

= mass of displaced water*g

= density of water* volume displaced* g

= 1000* (100 / 100^3) * 9.8

= 9.8/10

= 0.98 newton

Answer:

800 gm

Explanation:

Hi,

When the body is immersed, the upthrust act on the body. Now, downward reaction of this upthrust will act on the base of the jar.

Downward reaction of upthrust = weight of water and jar after immersion

= 700 gm + 100 gm

= 800 gm

Here, I am taking 100 cc = 100 gm. Since 1cc = 1gm
