volume of body , V = 100 cm³ = 100 × 10^-6 m³
V = 10^-4 m³
weight of body in air , W = 5Kgf =50N [ assume , g= 10m/s²]
density of liquid , d = 1.8 × 10³ kg/m³
now, upthrust due to liquid , F = Vdg
where V is the volume of body ,
d is the density of liquid ,
g is the Acceleration due to gravity.
so, F = 10^-4 × 1.8 × 10³ × 10 = 1.8 N
now, weight of body in liquid , W' = W - F
where W is weight of body in air ,
F is upthrust due to liquid .
so, W' = 50N - 1.8 N = 48.2 N
V = 10^-4 m³
weight of body in air , W = 5Kgf =50N [ assume , g= 10m/s²]
density of liquid , d = 1.8 × 10³ kg/m³
now, upthrust due to liquid , F = Vdg

F is upthrust due to liquid .
so, W' = 50N - 1.8 N = 48.2 N
