Explanation:

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER!!

Given:

Volume of the body =100 cm 3

Weight of the body in air, W 1 = 1 kgf or 1000 gf

Let weight of the body in water be W 2

We know that R.D. of water is 1 and that of a solid is 10

To find the weight of the body in water

Relative density of the body = W 1

W ¹W ²

× relative density of water

10 = 1000 ×1

W ² × 1000

10 (1000−W 2 ) = 1000

W ²= 1000−100 = 900 gf.

HOPE THIS MIGHT Be HELPFUL TO YOU!!
