Tension at an angle Ф = Sin Ф × Mg
In this case our mass = 2kg
We want the tension in kg - weight.
The tension is therefore:
Sin 30° × 2Kg
Sin 30° = √3
Tension = 2 × √3
= 2√3 Kg
